They are based on historical research currently available on M¨¦tis in Ontario. เกมยิงปลาสุดยอดเกมทำเงินอันดับ 1Click here to view the historic research reports reviewed for the purposes ?of these summaries. It is important to note that these summaries are not comprehensive in scope, however, they attempt to summarize some key facts and narratives on why historic M¨¦tis communities were identified in these areas.

Identifying historic M¨¦tis communities is a necessary part of the legal requirements for establishing M¨¦tis rights protected by s. 35 of the Constitution Act, 1982. It is important to note, however, that the identification of historic M¨¦tis communities alone does not define contemporary rights-bearing M¨¦tis communities, or determine who in Ontario is M¨¦tis, who holds M¨¦tis rights, nor does it define M¨¦tis harvesting areas or territories. The MNO and Ontario continue to work together on these issues.

It is also important to note that these summaries are based on existing historical research on M¨¦tis in Ontario. As such, the conclusions in these summaries do not limit the potential of other historic M¨¦tis communities being identified or the expansion or recognition of historic M¨¦tis communities in the future based on additional historic research. Both the MNO and Ontario have committed to consider additional historic information as it may become available.?
